Before joining Hanson Bridgett, Mr. Weil was the Managing Partner of Broad, Schulz, Larson & Wineberg. Mr. Weil has been active in community service in Contra Costa County since 1973, including service on two local school boards.

Mr. Weil has practiced law for more than 35 years in taxation and corporate law, and often combines his skills in both areas. In tax matters, he handles both planning and dispute-resolution matters, -including administrative appeals. His corporate work includes tax-free and taxable mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs, as well as organization of corporations, private placements and planning of day-to-day corporate matters and transactions.

In addition to being licensed to practice law in California, Mr. Weil is a member of the State Bar of Illinois.
