Deidré A. Schönfeldt is a member of the firm's Health Section and is based in San Francisco. She has a dynamic and diversified health care practice that includes representation of physicians, health care facilities, and senior and long-term care communities. Ms. Schönfeldt has expertise in physician referral/fraud and abuse laws, service contracts, Medicare and Medi-Cal reimbursement and HIPAA compliance. A substantial part of her practice also involves representing the long-term care and senior housing industry, concentrating on new facility developments, corporate structuring, real estate, regulatory compliance, licensing, contract drafting and business matters.

Before joining Hanson Bridgett, Ms. Schönfeldt gained considerable health care legal experience while working in the law and regulatory affairs department of one of the nation's largest providers of health care benefits.

Ms. Schönfeldt is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
