Ms. Klamm's area of practice concentrates on analyzing insurance coverage issues and insurance coverage litigation with particular emphasis on insurance for healthcare providers, including hospitals, residential care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, etc. Ms. Klamm has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance coverage area and is the Chair of the firm's Insurance Practice Group. She has had numerous jury and court trials, and handles arbitrations, mediations and various administrative hearings.

Ms. Klamm consults with healthcare providers in obtaining insurance policies to assure that they have adequate insurance to meet their own needs as well as those dictated by contracts with others. In order to assist her clients in this regard, Ms. Klamm tailors contractual proposals to make sure they adequately set forth insurance requirements and, conversely, amends coverages to make sure they fulfill insurance requirements. Ms. Klamm advocates for her clients so as to maximize insurance coverage for claims made against health care providers, including claims alleging: malpractice, elder abuse; bodily injury; defamation; wrongful employment practices; harassment and discrimination; and inappropriate conduct by directors, officers and credentialing boards.
